City Of Dim Sum, Bukit Mertajam

Have a visit to Dim Sum city which located at Kampung Bharu, Bukit Mertajam. It's a food court during night and selling dim sum in the morning.

The night scene of the Dim Sum City. Well, i don't know what exactly it called like but i prefer dim sum city.

Notice that? No worry about the food choices.

You can either choose to eat under a roof or under sky~

Nasi Lemak with Ayam Rendang and Sotong, RM 7.50. Looks tempting, in fact, tasteless of the rendang and the squids.. @@ Anyway, it's quite big in portion.

Highly recommended this dim sum stall which only operate at night, different from the one selling in the morning.





The price range is about RM 2 to RM 3.50. Cheap and WORTH and CONTENTED!!! What's make it different? It isn't like the one you usually consume, they are handmade and not purchase from market. The dim sums are stuffed with a lot of ingredients!! Trust me, you will feel content even just take few plates of it. And it's DELICIOUS!!! I miss so much and have 2nd visit on third day after first trial~ ^^

What is Kean Yong Fu mee? No idea, that's why ann order one to try. As a conclusion.... scroll down to follow up ya :

I saw this stall filling with take-away order, supposingly, it should be tasty due to ordersssss


Curry Fish with Rice, RM 5.00. It's come to one set. Not bad for the fish but so so for the basket of rice n vege.

That's all~ Don't shock. I visit 2 times and combine in a post la. What i recommended -> ONLY dim sum which only operate at NIGHT o~ ^^

Bloggers Cafe, Butterworth

There is a newly open cafe in Butterworth during Chinese New Year. It's substituted the previous cafe which known as Island Red Cafe.

Menu of the Cafe. The theme of the cafe is blue in color o!

The cafe has divided into 3 parts which are downstairs and upstairs while upstairs has 2 different environment.

Here is the outer part of the upstairs. Kindly more to open-air and only has fans.

The cozy interior part of upstairs which furnished by air-cons. You can choose wherever you like.

This is the guy who suggest to Blogger Cafe.. Hehe! Meet him after cny~

I cant remember the name but it's sprite soda for me, else nothing.

Mushroom Soup, so so..

Mango Smooties, RM 6.50. Well, i only can say : BAD! They are using the mango syrup to brew out the mango flavor. Tasteless, tasteless and tasteless!

Banana Boat, RM 6.90. You might choose 3 flavors of the ice cream by yourself. But i want to complain is, they offer the 4 choices which are strawberry, chocolate, vanilla and yam. But the ice cream came with only chocolate and vanilla. We asked where is the yam, the waitress said yam finished. For me, suppose the waitress came to us and ask for a substitution instead of choosing yam, they didn't do so but replace a scoop of vanilla.

The cafe which charging us service charge, i thought they might be placed customer's need as their first place but not make decision for their customers before doing something. It might be a small case for you all, but to be honest, i don't like this kind of service attitude.

I have no idea on the brand of the ice-cream they are using but it's not good.

Cappucino, RM 4.50. Again, bad yet tasteless... @@


French Fries Basket, RM 6.90. Another discontentment! Shouldn't you pick up the blackish fries before serving?? Blackish but not over-cooked. It's due to the freshness of fries is ........ @#$@#$

This is my second visit to this cafe. Overall, i would like to rate 1/5 for their service and foods! It might be an ideal place for gathering but not for dine in for me.

Western Cuisine at Butterworth Cafe, Jalan Pantai Bersih

There is a western cuisine offered by an obsolete building which named as Butterworth Cafe. I was so surprise to know the existence of an antique cafe in Jalan Pantai Bersih. The cafe was introduced by a new friend, Tai Boon. ^^ Just check it out~

Yup, this is the cafe that i mentioned. To be honest, I won't step my feet inside when i saw it's out look. It doesn't attract me at all. Haha!

By the way, you will only notice the sign aside the road if you are very good in observation. xD

The interior deco of the cafe. There is a plat written, since 1958. Enlarge the photo to have a clear vision on it. Erm... i'm not sure about that but i felt the cafe is running under a Indian Boss.. He is friendly and has a always smiling face~


These are the dish recommended from the cafe. You can try all the dish if you could. =P

Starfruit Juice, RM 3.00. Nice~!

Chicken Chop, RM 10. It's come along with coleslaw and french fries. Yes, it's a delicious dinner for me~ Not bad is the chop.

Seafood Supreme Pizza, RM 17 ( Regular ). All of us, agree to say that, it's much better than Pizza Hut o! The thin crust is crispy and the chef is not stingy to give more seafood like squids and prawns. So with the cheese, melt well into the pizza bread~

Chicken Lasagna, RM 14. I don't like lasagna, so i have no comment on it but according to Ann, it's tasty too~

Chicken Cordon Bleu, RM 15. Apart from size which i would complaint about, the rest is thumb up~ Nice taste... It's stuffing and taste cheezy and satisfy.

After our dinner, it's time for cake la~ This is the cake i bought from Jenni Bakery at Pulau Tikus. It's fruit cheese cake! Wow... like it very much! SPLENDID~! tasty!!!

He is making wish.. hope your wish all come true ya~ =)

Sekaligus blew the candle off, and your dream will come true! He looks cute in this photo, right?

Swensen's, Auto City

After having lunch at Sakae Teppanyaki which has written with my previous post, four of us switched to Swensen's at Auto City for a cake celebration.

Joanne has ordered a Chocolate Fondue as our dessert. =) For the price, unknown since i didn't glance on the menu. =P

It's come with 5 flavours of ice-cream which are sticky chewy chocolate, thin mint, mocha almond fudge, strawberry and cookies n cream. You have no right to determine the flavors as it's fixed. Same rule which applied by Haagen Daz... @@ Click here to view the post.

One point here : There are only 5 scoops of the ice-cream. And advise to eat it up before it's melt... However, the ice-cream was good.

Other than ice-cream, fruits are part of the fondue serving which including cherries, bananas and strawberries too.

For refreshment, mashmallow, chocolate profiterols, wafers and diced almonds. Personally, the chocolate profiterols are damn delicious~!!! It's really melt in your mouth when dipping with the chocolate fondue~! The fondue was feeling hot but the profiterols are cold~ Great combination which will fresh you up!

Snapping on him was a fun~ He has so many face expression that you never expect and it really entertain us well~
