Finally I'm back~!!!! After abandoned my blog for quite a long time, finally I'm back to it! Not to write too much, I would like to recommend a great food place located at Petaling Jaya which shown as picture below:

Super Kitchen Chili Pan Mee (辣椒板面) at Taman Bahagia, the forth branch. They have their own website. Click here to visit to their website.

Wow~!!! Their special home made chili flake! Challenge yourself if you could =)

Curry Pan Mee, RM 5.50. Rating : 2.5/5. The curry soup is little bit flavorless for me, at least, it doesn't attract my bud to order for next visit.

Pan Mee, RM 5.00. Rating : 3.5/5. This restaurant serves thin pan mee rather than the one similar to kuey teow shape. Actually I prefer thin pan mee~ ^^.

The picture shows the sequence (from top left to right) of eating pan mee:

1) When the pan mee served.

2) Add the quantity of chili that you like. I would recommend about 1.5 spoons.

3) Mix and then ready to eat.

Deep Fried Tofu with Homemade Thai Sauce, RM 6.90. Rating : 4/5. It looks so tempting when we first saw customers next to the table order this, and here, we have one too. =) Felt lovely with the sesame~ So generous! The deep fried tofu is go wells with the thai sauce, the texture of tofu is smooth and soft yet bit together with sesame give you crunchy! Recommend!

Most of the young blood quite familiar with this dessert cafe, I guess - Snowflake, the Taiwanese style dessert. They are opening their new branch at Sungai Wang Plaza.

Long queue for their first day opening due to the buy 1 free 1 promotion. Yeah~! I grab one on it =)

Nice decoration~

This is the common thing that happen in all stores of Snowflake. After placing order, you will be given this "beeping UFO". You can collect your order once it's beep. It's useful to tell when is your dish ready.

Bestseller with variation of hot and cold, RM 6.90. It's come along with grass jelly, sweet potato and taro balls.

Creamer is given separately to enhance the sweetness. I am a big fan of the taro ball rather than the grass jelly. Basically, the dish taste good. However, quality of Snowflake desserts is not maintain the same from day to day. It might be delicious today but not for tomorrow. Depends on your luck. =)

Finally I'm free for blogging again! Thesis writing and report kill me a lot! Become old lady.... =.=

Have a simple post here to share of the tea time venue at Kuchai Lama. I'm sure number of people know this outlet well - K3K (Kwai Sam Kee - 桂三记） Benta Kaya.

K3K Benta Kaya is a corner shop located Kuchai Lama. Most of people will pass it by when turning around to find out car park!!! Yes, car parking is most headache issue in Kuchai Lama! This is my first time visit to K3K Benta Jaya even I always saw it here and other area.

Cozy and spacious cafe but customer flow...... low enough~ I read review from other bloggers. Most of them complaint about the service of crew and the taste and price of the food.

It's convenient for you to get any service from the crew~! Wifi password is given too!

Just a simple meal order to kill my time by studying here while waiting friend for an interview.

Ice Blended Red Bean, RM 6.80. Rating : 7/10. Gula melaka is the main source of the sweetness. Red bean blended giving out the sandy feel. It's thick and concentrated! I love this drink but sicken of the sweetness very soon as too much gula melaka added. However, if you love something sweet yet thick, give it a try!

Kaya You Char Kuih, RM 3.50. Rating : 2/10. SMALLLLLLLLLLL portion! Shock! Should I being expected that cafe will charge higher than the roadside food truck?? And it's not chewy and crunchy at all!!!

So they claimed this as the Kaya from you char kuih la.. Totally "thumb up".. LOL... i thought what will the "kaya you char kuih" taste differently from the ordinal one. Who knows, send me this kaya to claim as kaya you char kuih...

Furnishing of the restaurant is cozy and comforting.

Set P3 - The Original, RM 21.00 (subjected to 20% discount from ori price which is RM 25.20). Rating : 6/10. It's combination of the bacon classic with their old school minced pork chili con carne. As can see in the photo, the dishes served with vege and wedges.

Set P7 - The Urban Legend, RM 24.90 (subjected to 20% discount from ori price which is RM29.90). Rating : 7/10.

Their Petai Pork Burger, dressed with bacon, chili con carne, grilled onion and so on with grilled back bacon and our specialty Minced Pork Petai Sambal. The chili con carne is much juicer and palatable compare to set P3. The petai scrap is adding into the chili, even can't feel about the actual bit of it but still can smell and taste it out.

Archway of Taman Pertanian~! Here we come!

Food Science Gang! A group photo before exploring the world! Oh ya, park your car as near as possible to the entrance, else you have to walk quite a long distance. What did I mean? Haha! The car park is huge la! However, you may wait for the Skytrek bus at the bus station.

Many blogger state that RM 1 will charge for every single car but we don't get charge on that day~ So I'm not sure about the car park fee.

P/S: Without knowing when will the bus come~

La la la~ So exciting when seeing the huge poster here!

After entering the park, there are two types of buses which are Taman Pertanian Bus and Skytrek Bus. Yup, different buses will drive you to different places.

Taman Pertanian is not a single tourist spot. It consists a number of different theme park. The photo shows the map of the park. Ahhh! Please ignore the person in the photo~!!!

Our first and last stop before heading to skytrek : Empangan Sungai Baru.

We picked the place to settle our meal-picnic. Our food stuffs~ Mainly source: Carbohydrate which is bread! With filling of egg with mayonnaise, cucumber, tomatoes, tuna, mantou, and drink!!!

It should be a picnic activity but we couldn't get a greenish field... We brought along sleeping bag but no chance to use it. =(

After the meal, photo taking at the fishery. Free walking.

Waiting for the bus~! If you wish to visit all section of the Taman Pertanian, just reach there earlier and book your Skytrek at latter session so that you have more time on exploring the park. We booked our Skytrek at 1.30pm. Thus, Empangan is the only place we had gone through.

Fill in the medical declaration and acceptance of risk form. Haha! Feeling like signing a 生死状！Where to get this? It's just beside the entrance ticket counter. Find their in charge person and the guy will lead you.

Little Adventure = RM 35
Big Thrill = RM 45
Extreme = RM 50
10% discount entitled to group with pax ≥ 10 for booking in same circuit and single transaction.

Charge of the gloves are RM 3 per pair. You will need it for the game. Go to the counter to buy your gloves. Of course, you can bring your own but make sure it's really protecting. If you don't mind about the hygiene, could pay RM 1 with second hand gloves but I bet not much people willing to reuse the sweating glove by others! =P

RM 5will be charge for each but it's REFUNDABLE. You will need to get a water bottle holder from reception if wish to bring along the water with you. Bring water along you for whole journey. You need it desperately! We have bring our own refillable water - 5.5 liter along~!!!

RM 5 will be charge for each locker too and also REFUNDABLE.

Next, go to their harness house to get your harness!

The skytrek staff will assist you in wearing the harness.

Well prepare~!!!

Then, safety briefing will be given by the instructor. They will teach you how to use the carabiners and the pulley~!! Try to ask them if you don't understand. It's about your personal safety!

Everyone will get the chance to practice.

At this height, sure you wont feel anything, right? Hehe!

What about this height?? haha! I felt so excited with it and sure I will be back for Extreme challenge!

Big Thrill challenge has total of 20 checkpoints with repeated game station at different length of tracks.

The Quake, it's need trick to master it~!! Don't be panic else you would be hang over there. Hehe!

Creepy Sky Crawl, this is the place where you can become superman~!

Air Bridge, it's not a big deal for all us~ =)

Happy Hoopert. This is the most difficult part of the 20 checkpoint and also in Big Thrill. You might get sprain if not doing well. Refer to the skytrek worker, ask them about the trick to master it~!!! Sure you can do it!

P/S: The trick is hold the rope as high as possible, swing and try to push your leg forward!

Tea Time @ Delicious, Mid Valley

This was a long time post.. hehe! Visited to Delicious @ Mid Valley during tea time. I was impressed with their decoration. It's warmth and nice. Unfortunately, I don't take the picture of the interior part of the restaurant.

Earl Grey Tea Pot, RM 9.90 (refillable).

Melting Pot with Marshmallow, RM 8.90. Ahaha... Ordinary drink.

Chocolate Cake, RM 11.90. Rating : 9/10. The cake was just nice. Sure chocoholic will fall in love with this cake. The chocolate taste is so heavy and choccy~! The melting ice-cream went nice with the hot chocolate cake. Yummy!!! Stamp it!

Strawberry Chocolate Pavlova, RM 12.90. Rating : 3/10. This delicacy make up of whipped cream with chocolate cookies at the bottom part. It looks tempting and beautiful but after taste it, it's totally a disappointment. Too creamy and the strawberries not really fresh.

I knew that the famous hong kong dessert known as Lucky Dessert or 發记甜品 has stepped into Malaysia market and having their first franchise at Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara.

The outer look of Lucky Dessert is elegant, right?

Design.

The environment is cozy and comfortable. It could be a place if you wish to have a short break or chit-chat. I would come back to it due to their ambient rather than food~ I love this type of light and cold setting~ ^^

Lucky Mango Purple Rice 鲜芒果紫米露，RM 11. Rating : 7/10. Honestly, I pretty like this dessert without the mango as topping. The mangoes didn't go right with the purple rice where the combination wasn't sheer perfection. They don't taste good when putting together. However, the purple rice solely is good taste, concentrated~

Besides mangoes, sweet potatoes and yam dices are parts of the fillings. Those stuffs go well with the purple rice rather than mangoes!

Durian Wraps 榴莲班戈，RM 10. Rating : 6/10. The pancake skin and the whipped cream is pretty tasty but I expect more~

Trinity Mango Delight 招牌杨枝甘露，RM 11. Rating : 6/10. My friends and I felt nothing special with this delight even though this is their signature dish. I had tried out a better one at Singapore.

Japanese style furnishing - bamboo stick.

Their signature Yakitori. According to the website, skewered pieces of marinated meat grilled to perfection.

4 course Unagi Bento Set, RM 7 instead of RM 13.90 (due to 50% off as mention earlier).

This 4 course of bento set consist of unagi don + Salad + Miso Soup + Watermelon + Bottomles green tea as well.

Unagi Don. Rating: 7/10 for the don but 5/10 for the unagi. The unagi is not impressing..

Vegetable salad. Rating : 3/10. I not sure what's wrong with the cabbage slides... But it's taste bitter!

Seaweed soup. Rating : 6/10. Salty soup which helps to whet your appetite~ Nice soup!

2 pieces of watermelon as dessert.

Chicken Thigh Leek Teriyaki, RM 2. Rating : 5/10. So so......

Japanese Rice, RM 2. Some of you gonna love the fluffy japanese rice but not for me.

Lou Sang at Old Man Restaurant, Taman Kajang Impian

农历初七，称为人日~意味人人生日~

To celebrate this special occasion, course mates and I went for a dinner + lou sang at Kajang area, specifically - Sungai Chua.

The restaurant named as Old Man and we used to call it as Loh Yeh (老爷). Why is it so? Do ask the manager if you got the chance to pay a visit to it. ^^

The restaurant has divided their dish into several section which are soup, four season, vegetable, bean curd, noodle, chicken, meat, seafood and desserts. Well, each of the section would has minimum 9 different choices. Of course, some are more than that~ Their menu are constituting, with a glance, you can decide your meal.

The only one that I will miss out is the fried abalone mushroom. Springy and salty yet not over. I like it. Besides, the bitter gourd with salty egg yolk is a must try. For those who freak out of the bitter taste, no worry, it's really good and bitter has gone away! Just give it a try~

Basically, all of the dishes just in normal taste, nothing special to jot down. Rating given is average level : 6/10.

Live Band Performance at Sense Cafe, IOI Mall @ Puchong

This post is quite funny. Why? Because it isn't a food post. Yes, I didn't order any f&b in this cafe. Another question mark? Ahaha! Visited to Sense Cafe which located at 3rd floor, new wing of IOI Mall. Ann and I were waiting for the showtime of movie, we choose Sense Cafe as the place to kill time.

However, we have sit for nearly 20 minutes but no waitress came to us. I wonder is the crowd make them too busy or our existence is not obvious to them? However, it's match our point where we just wanna have a seat without order anything. =P

Sometime, artist singer would be the performance guest. Check out their website if you wish to see any local singer~

I have abandon my blog for quite a long time before Chinese New Year. My thesis lab and paper work kill me a lot... T.T... Finally grab some free time to update a simple short food blog. =P

Giving a try at Orchid bistro which can be found inside the Jusco Shopping Mall at Balakong or known as Cheras Selatan.

Fried Mee, RM 4.90. in my opinion, it is too oily and over-cooked.

Curry Bihun, RM 5.90. Something wrong with the soup. The taste isn't same as the normal one, likely to be chillies soup instead of curry soup. Santan is not enough perhaps.

My second visit to Nippy Noodle Restaurant since 2 years ago. Hehe! I thought I have written about this restaurant before but I couldn't find out the post. Thus, decide to post here.

The outer look.

Capacity of the restaurant is small but almost fully occupied even at 3pm. Yeah, I thought crowded mostly only can be seen during lunch time~

This is the room of noodle cutting process. Unfortunately when we take our meal, nobody there. Thus, missed out the chance to grab photo of their making process.

Calamansi Plum Juice （咸梅桔），RM 2.40. Rating : 8/10.

BBQ Sliced Pork with Wanton Bamboo Noodle（叉烧馄饨竹升面），RM 7.50 (big) or RM 6.50 (small). Rating : 6.5/10. How does the bamboo noodle taste like? The noodle is fined and texture can be claimed as springy. However, the BBQ sliced pork still ok, nothing special to mention. Oh ya... the BBQ sliced pork should be more than that~ =P

Crispy Pork Wanton Bamboo Noodle（烧肉馄饨竹升面）, RM 7.80 (big) or RM 6.80 (small). Rating : 6.5/10. Rather the same as above comment. Normal rating for the so called crispy pork~

Each bowl is giving 3 pieces of wanton. It's compact and stuffing yet rather small.

I bought a voucher from GroupsMore website that offered RM 7 instead of RM 17 banana chocolate waffle at Geláre Cafe, e@Curve.

The furnishing of the interior is pretty good yet cozy. It is an ideal place if you wish to be quiet and cold. The dim lighting is comforting too.

Banana Chocolate Waffle,RM 7 instead of RM 17. Rating : 5/10. Worth? It's total overpriced. The ice-cream melt rapidly when we got it. This make me frustrated, I not even know how is the ice-cream taste like. The chocolate sauce is too little where it doesn't match with the size of the waffle at all. Few pieces banana represent anything? Back to the waffle, i would rate 5/10 too and I felt Waffle World from One U is much better. Do tell me more about this cafe if you have different thought~

Xian Ding Wei Tawainese Tea Room （鲜定味）@ Auto City, Penang

My very first visit to Auto City in year 2011~ And I spotted the changing of the restaurant~! 鲜定味 finally have their own branch at mainland @ Penang~ As i know, there is an outlet in Queensbay Mall, right?

Being excited with the new restaurant and decide to give it a try... Haha! It's quite silly that I never step in Xian Ding Wei in KL but I tried it out at Auto City. =P

As usual, i like to capture the menu of the restaurant. It's become my habit d~

From the picture, you can see that the hall is relative big yet cozy. They provided second floor which are more comfortable as the seats are in sofa-cushion style. The decorate looks elegant too.

Taiwanese Supreme Chicken in 3 variety of Sauces（正宗台湾三杯鸡）, RM 18.90. Rating : 5/10. Note that this supreme chicken came along with the 3 side dishes and the rice. For me, the chicken is not done to a turn, it's insipid and quite oily. Quite disappointed!

3 side dishes of the day (开胃三位碟），Rating : 5.5/10. What could I say?? Ahaha... Can they prepare the larger portion of the jelly and the pickles ar??? So so of the dishes but the soup not bad.

Taiwan style braised Pork Rice （卤肉饭). Rating : 7/10. Palatable and better than previous foods~

Sourplum Green Tea with Aloe Vera Jelly （梅子绿茶），RM 4.90. Rating : 6/10. Ahaha... sorry for this commet as I don't like aloe vera. And the combination of the sour plum with green tea didn't impress me.

There is a brand new concept dessert house opening in Jalan Raja Uda, Butterworth. What do I mean? Go through this blog~

The cafe is known as Tang Bo Fu or 糖伯府港式糖水屋. In fact, Hong Kong could be found the similar name of the cafe.

What is the special concept? They have their own simple live band in the middle of the cafe. This is a good idea to have a singer play but.... (will reveal later)

This is their menu. What is the content inside?

The menu consists of several pages and separate into few categories. For the 1st page is grain, second one is drinks and so on. The menu is colourfu as well. Each of the column has specialized fruits dessert. You can order according to the fruit types or the categories.

It's a cozy environment. The only weakness is the small capacity.

Red Bean Mini Ball 红豆汤圆, RM 5.80. Rating : 6/10. Not bad.. The portion is moderate and worthy with the price as 6 pieces mini ball given.

Honeydew Soy Bean Curd 蜜瓜豆腐花，RM 5.80. Rating: 7/10. The rating is quote by my friend and I don't taste any of it. ^^

Kiwi Grass Jelly 奇异果黑粉,RM 7.80. Rating :6/10. The dish is like the kiwi ice fine blended which come along with grass jelly and kiwi fruits, I like the kiwi blended~

Passion Fruit QQ 百香跳跳蛋，RM 5.80. Rating : 5/10. Normal taste, the taste of the passion fruit is kinda light and the 跳跳蛋 actually was the jelly which contain filling inside. The stuff didn't give the clear explanation and we thought it's some kind special egg... =.=

Coconut Mango Red Bean 芒椰红豆爽, RM 6.80. Rating : 8.5/10. This is my drink! I love it the most!!! The sweetness of the drink really tickle my taste bud~ The smash red bean is so delicious~ The coconut milk mix well with red bean paste~ Stamped! Highly recommend this if you love some kind that is sweet~ =)

For overall, the dishes is not bad. Perhaps can visit next to try out others~ The price is a little bit high since it's located at Butterworth. I thought only KL would charge as high as it.

There are 2 drawbacks of this cafe :

When the singer is singing, we are hardly can chit chat since the volume of the mic has covered our voice and we need to shout to each other. Besides, the small space of the cafe with the mic really make us so uncomfortable!!!
We visited to the cafe at 10pm. The stuff told us that they operate till 2am / 3am. Thus, I would expect that all the desserts still available to order. Who knows, I hardly can get one drink. I ask for this, he said not ready to sell. I ask for that, he said the stock hasn't arrive from delivery. Then, they even told me the chef is cooking... =.=... THEY REALLY NEED TO IMPROVE THEIR STORE MANAGEMENT LE!!!

I thought i will have to give up to blog about this cafe as i lost it's receipt but see, i found it back during moving house. Haha!

Calorie Hong Kong Style Cafe, has been reviewed by known food bloggers where the rating is simply high enough to encourage my visiting. However, the result came out didn't satisfy me.

Lemon Sea Coconut, normal.

Chicken Drumstick Eggrice, RM 10.90. Well, the lemon sea coconut was came into one set. Honestly, I didn't feel any special with the dish. And the chicken drumstick cooled to room temperature... =.=

Special Combo Rice came with Lemon Longan, RM 12.90. Haha! Commentless............ I wonder why make it so special... Not nice at all..

Food didn't taste good but the most important was the gathering~ May May and I in the end~ Take care ya~ Miss a lot!

Drooling of Japanese food but not willing to pay more? Wish to eat Japanese food without limitation? Here is an offer for you : Kikyo Ala Carte Japanese Buffet.

Kikyo Japanese Restaurant situated at Bandar Puteri Puchong, where it offer a short range of ala carte Japanese buffet. Even though I claimed it as cheap buffet, they had raised their price from RM29.90++ to RM 36.90++.

What makes the RM36.90++ special? I called to their outlet and here is their reply :

Increased the variety by adding about 10 new type of food
Bottomless drink (either green tea or coke) where drink charge for extra for the past.

Interior of Kikyo.. Not so spacious, surprisingly full house during weekend. So make sure call for reservation before heading.

Choose the mean you wanted from the menu and tick in a given list and pass to waiter.

It was a desperate review about nasi lemak Cikgu who known as the best nasi lemak in the town. This is my first time dine in to this cafe but I think this is my last time unless they had changed their customer service and food quality.

The counter where food is served. It's self service, tell the waitress the dishes you want and they would take for you. The staffs really impolite and no manner... I am just so so so GERAM !!! How impolite? They won't greet you, it's ok. But they not even look at you during come in front of you!!! Wow.... )#@($*)(@

I was using the coupon bought from everyday.com which offered 61% discount, which mean that pay RM 4 for value worth RM 10.50 dish. According to the coupon, the buyer could be enjoy the

nasi lemak set meal which worth for RM 10.50 :-

nasi lemak fried chicken(RM 5.50)
kerang/sotong/sardin (RM 3)
1 can of drink (RM 2)

So called Nasi Lemak. We were asked about to choose either potatoes or sardin... Wow again.. never know potato same group with sardin/sotong/kerang o~!!

How is the taste like? Yeah.. one word done : BAD! The sambal is so so so dilute even it's spicy.. Cold potatoes with the burn fried chicken. What's wrong with the nasi lemak cikgu?? I used to adore nasi lemak cikgu after viewing so many positive feedback from food blogger, but in reality, it doesn't go same as what I thought! Even the rice... I thought served with nasi lemak but seem it's just ordinary white rice... =.=

The voucher include 1 can of drink right? But we not asked to choose type of drink and they straight serve with the lemon tea.... Alright, bear with it!

Nothing special with the nasi lemak cikgu here and I would like to say the nasi lemak panas at Section 14 or nasi lemak ayam at Seapark even much better than it!!! Gosh!!!

I found there are a lot of negative feedback from the customers who had bought this vouchers from everyday.com. However, everyday.com willing to refund for those who haven't used up the coupon. Luckily they are concern about customers right. Thus, I will continue to support everyday.com (they really efficient in handling any complaints and fast action in problem solving) but not nasi lemak cikgu!!

Waffle World is a cafe where you could find it out at One Utama Old Wing. It's one of my favorite dessert cafe always~ This time, I visited for my tea time after loitering at One U. Waffle World is catering about a series of waffles, pancakes and western foods as well.

Ooo... they had prepared set lunch too but the choice didn't attract me at all... For those who loves Lasagne could give it a try though I don't know how is the taste. =P

Strawberry Waffle, RM 6.90. The waffle is crispy and good but not the strawberry paste. The paste is too sweet and artificial like. In fact, it's too artificial till you cant even can taste the real strawberry like. For first few bite, it's still ok but getting detest with the fake paste.

Chocolate Pancake with Vanilla Ice-cream, RM 7.90. Pancake is hot~ The perfect combination of the cold ice cream with the hot chocolate pancake tickle my taste buds indeed~ Woohoo.. I would say it's 100x tastier than the previous one. Inside also filled with chocolate in the pancake, the hot pancake just melt the ice cream in your mouth~ Definitely yummy dish~!!

It's apart for a while since my last visit to Look Out Point which located at Ampang. A sudden desire feel like want to view the evening scene...

There are 2 kaki accompany for the trip.. hehe! Thanks to Ann and Mac~ Can you see them? =P

Oops.... it's been 1 year I don't step inward this area. They have updated their social network to facebook lo.

Stairs still the same as old time but this was the first time I have the chance to check out the stairs. Ooo.... they have stamped plats to encourage the customers keep walking.. Somehow, it's tiring.. hehe!

Under construct. Seem they want to make a better destination for it.

This is the path heading to the tower that you could stand for a better view for KL scene but now, it's conquer by a restaurant called Panorama. The tower has 3 levels and according to Mac, if you wish to dine at higher level, you have to pay more on it. Wow... I wonder who set the rules and why they can stamp the place for their own use? Anyone can tell me about this?? Thus, we not manage to go up to highest place for the scene lo. Anyway, you still could take photos there with strange feel where all the waiters will keep greeting you and ask you to have a seat even though we just wanna take photos.. :S

Next, having our dinner at Look Out Point Restaurant. Seem like not much change. =)

Poco Homemade, running by couple. The theme of the little hut is drowsy and slow down the tempo of life. I wonder why some of the bloggers claim Poco as a Japanese cafe, in fact, I felt they were serve Asean cuisine of course including the Japanese meal as well. By the way, their Japanese meal are claimed that were homemade~

Comment : The menu is limited by the choice of meal. The price is a bit high for me. Of course, the ambient is not bad but in my opinion, the best time to visit it is during afternoon or teatime, the photos taken would perform different style by the reflecting of the sunlight~

While on the way back to study life at KL during month of July, Ann and I had visited to Ming Court Hong Kong Tim Sum. I always craving for this restaurant's dim sum... Everytime reading other bloggers who wrote about this restaurant, sure I will set my teeth to pay a visit on it~!!

Thumb up of their service~! Haha! Once you get your seat, their workers will surge toward the customers. One will ask about the tea, one ask about har gao, fish pastes, egg tarts, porridge... and so on. I am quite sure that most of the new customers cant reflect themselves in short time as I did. Haha!

Comment : Overall, I love the dim sum of Ming Court so much and it's much better than Foh San (my own opinion). Love it~!! Sure will visit it again!

Look out for the pork burger..... craving for it seriously, thus try out the so called cheap yet palatable pork burger at Nambawan cafe which known as pork delicate by food bloggers.

My first and the last time visit to this cafe. Why? Reveal later~!

Too bad when the waitress told me that pork burger was not available at that time since their porks haven't arrived. Huh? Someone deliver for them? Ok...

100% Home made Beef Burger, RM 6.90??? RM 9.90??? Here is the question for you, why I put ??? at the end? Yup, for the pricing ya.. the menu stated RM 6.90 but the lady of cashier (maybe was the boss) charge us RM 9.90. We argued with her that menu has written RM 6.90 instead of RM 9.90. The answer she gave: Price changed and she tried to find out the new menu but failed. We had go through few of the rest of menu, all stated RM 6.90.. why she cant find the RM9.90 one??????? So ridiculous!!! And is the beef burger worth for the price? Absolutely NOT!!!

Yes, sauce of the beef is ample and the mouth feel just wonderful... The homemade beef was actually minced or grind meat yet not too fine. But the most important part is the burnt causing the bitter taste.

Set lunch is come to set including mushroom soup, pork patty and a drink total RM 9.55 nett -:

Chargrill Pork Patty Hot Potato. The portion is so so so so so so tiny, not even can fill stomach of one's. The pork patty taste like the minced pork too~

I am sure that residents at PJ know well about this cafe : Food Foundry. Their chief fame rests on their mille crepes which offered several flavours. Mille crepe? Yup, mille meaning that thousand.

Sign board of the cafe~ Food Foundry is a cafe with the theme of simple yet comfortable. Alike the European ambient, it's giving the feeling of laziness~ You may sit on a chair and read book~ Of course when the weather is good since they are no air-con.

This is their original space of the cafe. Guess what?

They had even expanded their cafe to next door. It's much bigger and serve more customers now.

The flavour of the mille crepe. As you can see, three types of mille crepes are ready which are vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

Other than mille crepe, you have other choices like tiramisu cake, chocolate mousse, bread butter pudding and so on.

Look thorough the photo, it's really make up by layers of crepe.

The very thin crepes stacked together give me a great feeling~ Surprisingly, you can feel the layered when consuming in your mouth and it's melt so fast~ Besides, the crepe has good chocolate fragrant even though the intensity not too strong. One word : delicious~! Do try out their strawberry and vanilla crepe next time!

Food Foundry has also well-known with their western cuisine but I have no chance taste on it. Perhaps, just next time~ =)

1st : My Final Year Project chemicals and raw materials haven't arrived since last few months... ya.. month.... Every coursemates have started their lab work and some are almost come to the ending, and where am I? Stuck with the beginning..

2nd : My car broke down today. Yeah~!! Engine has condemned and got to change a second hand one. How much will it cost? Roughly figure RM 2.5k.. yeah~

3rd : I felt so isolated suddenly... haih...

How does a restaurant offering buffet style steamboat attract it's target market? For my opinion, it's mainly depends on the variety and freshness of the foods. The environment of steamboating come at second concern after food.

Having a birthday dinner with a gang of friends at Umami House of Steamboat, located at Dataran Mentari. I am sure it's obvious to find out for those who had past by Sunway Pyramid by either LDP or Federal from PJ site. The sign board is huge and stare.

Not much word description about this review as photos told everything~!!!

It was a big hot night for me to study in room. So, Ann and I decided to loiter at somewhere with air con. This was first time I tried out a dessert cafe in Bangi, where the place I have lived for almost 4 years but never explore on it. Haha!

In fact, Bangi was getting develop and building getting more and more are constructing. Hope that one day Bangi will in a riot of colour~

Not much photos taken as my main purpose wasn't hunt for food~ And just wanna sharing with a cafe in Bangi.

Ice Room, considered newly open cafe in Bangi. They have just operated about 1 year in Bangi. Ice Room is a franchise, it just have many outlets at different city. View their facebook to know more.

Ice Room@Bangi is a double storey cafe with air-con installed or you could choose to take open-air seats.

After you had ordered, they will send a details list of your order to you.

Special Ice Durian 榴莲果皇雪花冰, RM 8.90. The durian flavour shaved ice, it's a special but not ample of the flavour. The flavour should be enhanced. The filling is only red bean. Disappointing even though it was their signature order.

Hot and Spicy Soup 四川酸辣汤面, RM 7.90. However, this mee was pretty good. I like the soup based, it's go well with it's name. Spicy and sour~ The minced meat was good combination with the soup. Like the mee even I don't like the ice. And it's silly that the price of ice is more expensive than a mee~ Lol

It was a special night for us thought we celebrated with ordinary way~ =P

09.10.2010 was pre-celebration of Ann birthday~!!! We had our dinner with 2 buddies at Marmalade Cafe, Bangsar Village II. Marmalade Cafe has it's own website, Click here to view.

The wall was beautifully painted. It's feeling like place in a playground~ Of course, due to the camera setting, the photo looks yellowish, so it didn't look good.

Rectangular menu by Marmalade. The choice are limited, I had spent more than 15 minutes to figure out what should I order~ They should expand their selection to retain customers.

The cafe looks spacious and cozy as well~ It's an ideal place to chatting if you feel like don't want have a heavy meal.

Watermelon + Celery Juice, price not clear. Aha! If and only if you like the celery, otherwise it's a weird juice. Luckily I am not the drinker.. It's just some kind of healthy juice, different people vary judgement... xD

Lemon Ginger Tea, price not clear. It's a bit spicy due to the ginger. A comfort tea which could help you to heat up your body and not feeling cold. But the taste, as if you like ginger very well~ Spicy and gingerly~

Spaghetti, price not clear. Hmmm... disappointing.

Curry Laksa Udon, price not clear. The curry ar, I would say didn't taste like curry at all. Too plain. But the portion is quite big.

The udon~ Haha! Quite special..

Seafood Spaghetti, price not clear. It's smell good and the sauce pretty good. But the spaghetti is not up to the level for me. So so for overall except the sauce.

Nasi Lemak Curry Chicken, price not clear. The meal come with raw vege, fried rice and egg. The curry chicken, i thought it would be warm but in fact, it came in cold form. Zzzz... cold curry, you can imagine how bad is it.

However, it's look tempting right? Ya, but the taste really make me down enough.

The fried rice is pretty good but small portion.

Well, I know, it's not a wise choice to have a dinner at Marmalade Cafe where the cafe is well-known with their cakes. Haha! We can't order cake since we have our own birthday cake which specially bought for him~ The choices of the Cafe is too little and their food, honestly, nothing special. Perhaps, i should try out their signature cake, right?

Discover a stall which selling cheap western food one night~ Decided to try out~ I am not sure but i felt the stall is running by a group of Malay~

You will be given a cup with number after ordering.

For the photos displayed, i have no idea on what is the chapati or tosei... but they were not nice for me. RM 2 for each~

Chicken Chop, RM 6.00. If you expect a cheaper western meal, i think this hawker might fulfill your choice. The taste wasn't awesome but it's still acceptable. Well, RM 6... Not much that you can expect for, right? The taste is normal.

Mixed Grill, RM 10.00. Wow... mixed grill which consist of chicken, lamb and fish fillet... coming along with fries, egg and salad. You are gonna laugh till pants drop when saw the plate came. Haha! But, the taste ya... suit with RM 10. The outer looking drag my appetite to the bottom part... You ate what you paid~It's always true~

This man... finish all the foods shown in this blog except i done the 70% of the mixed grill. Haha!

A very excited visiting to Happy Seasons before entering~ where the restaurant is in the seasons theme as it's naming.

Autumn is located at the balcony of building. You can view the night view from the seat. However, there is nothing special with the night scene there, perhaps, can try out before sunset.

I guess most of people will like the winter part. According to the plat, the temperature of the room always maintain at 18 degree Celcius~ It's definitely a great place for youngster right?

You can switch to any season anytime~

By the way, all the food served are Halal ~

The food quality is 2/5. I have no comment it as none of them can satisfied my taste bud. Looking forward to their improvement, either drinks or foods. Other than Winter part, nothing so special and impressed me. Kinda disappointed with the restaurant. Haha!

Wow wow wow... finally I have some time for my blogging~ It's being stucked for a while~ Gosh... Busy for thesis writing, presentation, project, assignment and so on... I guess.. this is an ordinary Uni life, right?

Back to my blogging title : Aunty Lan Homemade Noodle at Sungan Chua, Kajang. This was my second time stepped into this cafe... When was my first visit? 27th July, 2009. Lol~ Click Here to visit the first time review.

The menu was different from last year. They have their new menu~

Well, we ordered set dinner where price fall into range RM 10 to RM 12.90. Every set dinner comes along with a piece of homemade cake, a main dish and a drink.

Apricot Homemade Cake, it's average of the taste. The portion is really......... small... =.=

Durian homemade cake. Ooo... the smell of the durian is strong.. you can even smell it before putting in your mouth. The durian taste as strong as you could smell. It's definitely a deli for durian lover~ But if take into account the quality of cake, it isn't good.

Oreo homemade cake. Erm...... No no no.....

Mushroom Pork Balls Soup Noodle. Ahha... plain..

The pork ball..... nothing special.. chewiness? Nope.

Fried xxx. Sorry, i don't know what is that called in either english or chinese.. cant recall.. haha! But it's too oily for us.... and not crispy at all.

Homemade Dried Prawn Chili Dry Noodle. The dried prawn chili is pretty good, it's spicy. The combination of the soy sauce with the chili tickle your taste bud.

Deep Fried Chicken Chop Rice. The chicken cutlet is huge. But the meat is not that fresh. We concluded that they were using the obsolete cooking oil....

Deep Fried Chicken Chop Noodle. The noodle differentiate this dish from the previous one. Haha! Faint.

Mini Asari Wafu Soup Pasta to Mini Chicken Onsen Tamago Rice, RM 23++

The 2 dishes came into one set which cost RM 23 for both. It's a combination of the offered meal. What were them? The translation will become mini shortneck clam soup pasta and mini grilled chicken cutlet on rice. Both of the meal just normal. The soup base of the clam noodle is pretty good, then nothing to highlight.

Mini Kaki Kimuchi Pasta to Mini Tori Karaage Garlic Rice, RM 23++.

Mini oyster kimuchi pasta and mini fried chicken on garlic rice. Sorry about the kimuchi pasta.. i cant remember how the taste was like.. hehe! Anyway, the fried chicken is crispy.

Mini Ebi Tempura No Gomadare Pasta to Mini Ungai Onsen Tamago Rice, RM 23++

Not bad for both~

I used to have the dine in experience at Pasta Zanmai@Sunway Pyramid, i felt the outlet perform much better than this outlet either food quality or the ambient as well~

I guess it's a newie shop which opening at Subang Jaya, grand opening on 29th June 2010. It's a dessert cafe which selling shaved ice, similar concept to 100 Yen which just next door of it.

Here is their brochure~

Jackfruit Paradise, RM 8.90++. As you can see from the photo, it's consists of jackfruit and layer of flavoured ice. The taste of shaved ice is disappointing.. it's feeling like putting syrup rather than using the frozen fruit juice. Thus, i cannot feel the actual jackfruit taste of the ice.

Luckily only one we ordered.. just simply wanna try out. But i guess i wont visit for the 2nd time~

However, the ambient of the cafe is not bad... not that cozy but at least,

the blue painting and colourful wallpaper will make you feeling good. In addition, WI-FI is available~

Another food hunt in the town. Sincerely, although I spent most of my weekend at PJ but never explore what's in the town. Perhaps, I should wisely utilize the remaining time of study to explore PJ town~

Restaurant Hup Soon, a place i found on the food blogger which recommend the western food here. So, i decide to give it a try! In day time, Hup Soon is a coffee shop like others which selling char kuey teow, ampang yong tau foo and so on.

At night time, the western food seller has own the whole restaurant for it's business. Wow... dictator of the night~ =P

The menu has fully revealed on the plat. Of course, the price shown is quite reasonable, range from RM 10.50 to RM 12 WITHOUT any extra charge~

Can see those plates?? It's lessen when i took the photo. Suppose there was 3 rows of plate pile up together, i was late when took the picture.

The workers will get the plate from the cook there and add on the sauce and so on~ Systematic way to cope the mass customer flow.

柠檬金桔, RM 1.50. Homemade lemon lime, it's perfectly match my taste~ It's recalled my memory. I used to drink this whenever sore throat and it always work~ ^^

Mushroom Soup, RM 3.50. It's rich with fillings like slices of mushroom. It's enriched~

Complimentary of the mushroom soup I guess. Toasted crispy bun~ ^^

Fish and Chip, RM 9.50. The dish look tasty but it's not really happen in fact. Average.

Chicken Chop Brown Sauce, RM 10.90. Fries and salad were pretty decent but figuring that the chicken could be in better in taste. In fact, 20% of the chicken was burnt. They should have 2 cook instead of one ba? It's a disappointing dinner for me.

Maclen has strongly recommended an Asean food cafe known as Kaki Corner Cafe. My first impression was that kaki corner is a malay restaurant, something like restaurant nasi kandar. In fact, it's under control of Chinese. Haha!

What so special with this cafe? The price range of the western food and local food was pretty low and not bad of the quality.

LIVE band provided but I am not sure is it available everyday but for sure, Thursday~

The menu~

Part of the cafe. It's spacious as they have 2 shops attached together. Of course, this is just part of the cafe. You can choose either open-air or within air-con ambient.

The ambient is dim and cool for air-con based room. Good place for dine in and chatting as well.

Apple Juice, RM 4.80(medium)

Pineapple + Plum Juice, RM 6.80(giant)

Thumb up for the pineapple+plum juice~!!! Check it out!

Vege ball, RM5.00 for 5 pieces. As shown in the picture there, it's make up of fried vege balls with salad.. Taste like....... nothing.

Fish and chip, RM 10.90. Rating : above average. The fish and chip is kinda crispy and in moderate big portion.

Chicken Maryland, RM 11.80. A dish with salad, frankfurter and......... sorry.. fail to recall.. hehe! Anyway, the sauce is nice even though i forgot what sauce was it... BBQ if not mistaken. Taste : 3/5.

Hawaian Fish, RM 11.90. Ooo... personally, i don't this. The pineapple sauce didn't go well with the chicken cutlet... Kinda weird taste.. prefer fish and chip.

Comment:

The taste of the food were fall in the average range. It's a ideal place to chit chat yet wanna enjoy the dim and cozy environment but it's not really satisfy my taste bud.

It's nothing special with this restaurant, the food quality is so so and not impress me for 2nd visit as well.

My occupation : student, that's why I hardly manage to order set lunch meal from a restaurant. Why? Haih.... got to attend to class ma~ Haha!

Most of the restaurant offered value set meal to attract the flow of customers. Paddington house has offered a seductive menu~ Drooling... xD

RM 13.80++ for the value set lunch which including one main course either Texas or San Francisco and you will get a mini cup of dessert. All sets come with beverage drink either tea, ice lemon tea, soft drink and so on.

Texas, grilled chicken with tomato, oyster mushroom, Mozzarela and BBQ sauce on PHOP pannekoek roll and mashed potatoes. The combination make me felt great in taste. It's palatable~ Especially the BBQ sauce go well with the grilled chicken. Don't be misunderstand of the portion of the serving, it's tend to be big portion. After having all the mash potato, you will find yourself in contented way. The pannekoek roll is crispy~

San Francisco, pan fried dory fillet with PHOP pannekoek rolls, mashed potato and homemade tomato sauce. The homemade tomato sauce is so special and extraordinary compare to the common tomato sauce which you could find in market. Thumb up for the sauce~ The dory fillet is moderate taste. Stamped on Texas~

Mini Dollar Pancake Sundae, enjoyed the mini dessert very much~ Vanilla ice cream with strawberry jam~ Yum yum!

Finally i had visited to this fish head noodles restaurant~!! I aimed it for so long but never take action. Well, horrible traffic congestion at Kuchai Lama during off-working hour always stop me from food hunting at the area.

We reached the restaurant nearly 9pm but the shop still filled with customers. Mmmm... the fragrant smell of soup base~ It's tempting me~

海底椰龙眼, RM 2.20. It's tasty drink.

You will be served with it~

Win Soon has provided variation of the fish head noodles. You can choose the combo of fish head+fish paste, prawns+fish head and so on. Of course, the price is varied from each other~

Normal Fish Head Noodle, RM 7.50. The portion is relatively big, i guess the soup made us satiety instead of the noodles. Haha!

Huge prawns~ at least, bigger than other~ xD

Prawn Fish Head Noodles, RM 13.90 by chef recommendation. Springy fresh prawns using in the serving, thus good mouth feel is tasted~ The base of soup is yummy and little bit sweet taste. The fish head is also well-fried to give out the crispiness. I would say it's a good try~!

By the way, i guess they have added MSG into the soup base causing us feel thirsty after it.

The outer look of Win Soon restaurant. To be honestly, the restaurant is dim yet hot. Even though air-cons are installed but due to the open door style, you will feel bit hot when dine in. Anyway, it's all compensate with the good food~

Food hunting at Subang Jaya~ But mission fail.. =P

Initial plan : having dinner at Asia Cafe then visit to Snowflake but the plan failed. Hehe! Wehn past by Salmon Steak, i decided to give it a chance and we stepped in Salmon Steak Restaurant which is just 2 rows behind Asia Cafe.

It's corner restaurant. It's not a problem to find it out.

This restaurant divide to 2 parts which are open air and air-con.

They have special menu for student, no matter which college or uni you are. You can get the better value of your meal by showing or telling them you are student.

Chicken Chop with Rice, RM 6 (Student Price). The plate came with the chicken by mushroom sauce, salad and rice. The taste was not suprising~ You got what you paid for. It's fair. The quality is just average.

Mix Chicken Chop and Fish, RM 13. This is much better than the previous. By the way, they charge in a lower price as you can have the combo of black pepper chicken chop and fish together, adding with salad and fries. The handling way of the chicken is same as previous, thus, i would say that, kinda disappointing but the fish is not bad. Crispy at least. So with the fries~

Kiwi Ice, RM 5.50. ...................................................................... BANNED! The kiwi syrup make me sick.... RATING :1/5!!!

This is first time i step in Little Cravings which located at the hidden corner of One Utama. Ann and I were run out of thought about the dine in place... zzzz....

So, random pick a one and enter - Little Cravings, a little cafe selling Asean foods.

Porridge with Oyster, RM 3.80. Ordinary porridge, not much to comment. 老油鬼鬼's oyster porridge is much better.

The following picture was a Ramadhan set offered by Little Cravings.

Pandan Curry Chicken Rice, RM 8.90 for normal price. The set meal i ordered is RM 10.90 inlcuding a glass of teh tarik and a piece of kuih.

The chicken is undercooked. The curry taste so so, nothing to point out.

Sushi Zanmai, The Gardens

Visiting to the Sushi Zanmai which located at The Gardens took place in month of July. Yes, i only able to post the entry by now... Temporary free for blogging today~ xD

Same as usual, i always will take the photo of menu of a restaurant i had visited. The reason is simple, i feel menu is a representative of the restaurant. Sometime, i was attracted by the menu instead of the meal offer~

Yakiniku Don, RM 10.80 for small, RM 19.80-large. It's actually grilled beef on rice. I didn't test on it because i don't like beef. Haha! But for friend feedback-good~ And don't think the portion is small for you order the small, it's actually able to make you satiate.

Unagi don, RM 8.80-Small, RM 15.80-Large. Rating of the taste : 3/5.

Chicken Katsudon, RM 8.80-Small, RM 15.80-Large. One point to mention is the soy sauce of rice was in wrong quantity causing all of the ordered dish which came with rice over salty. For the chicken pieces, it's ok.

Ebidon, RM8.80-small, RM 15.80-Large. The crust is crispy but the prawn is not that fresh.

Caterpillar Roll, RM 12.80. Avocado is the one become "caterpillar" of the rolls. This is the only dish that satisfy me from the aspect of exhibit and the taste. Great taste? Nope, but at least acceptable level for me.

Stamina Roll, RM 12.80 for 6 pieces. It's rolled with Tomago and topped with toasted unagi. Emphasize again, the size is relatively small. How is the taste, haha! Critic is my choice~

Soft Shell Crab Maki, RM 6.80 for 3 pieces. From the visual assess of the maki, my first mind is that, walao... the menu really kidding us~!!! It's deviate from what we thought what we suppose to have. In the photo, it look not bad but in fact, it's really small and........... NOT delicious.. The soft shell is not well-handled during the frying process... =.=

I will update this info once i remembered what is it but i think there is no need to know it as it didn't attracting.. haha!

The dessert, oops... i forget what did it call... haha! Just remember the green tea ice-cream. I have taken the better green tea ice-cream before but i don't remember where did i ate, so, this outlet's ice-cream of the green tea flavour, -fail-. The price is about RM 15.90 if not mistaken. Not recommended. The choice of the desserts in the menu is limited.

Comment:

The overall of the food quality is disappointing for this outlet. Besides, it's kinda hot inside the restaurant even it's air-con installed. Perhaps, other outlet would be better~

Once upon a time, taking a tea-time break at The Gardens one day after tired of walking at Mid Valley. xD

Here is the gang I joined that day. It happened about early in the July.

For the tea time set offered by 尊厨, the price is RM 5 nett. You have selection of 2 part from the snacks or desserts and the chinese tong shui.

For the taste of the snacks/desserts below, I felt disappointed and not willing to evaluate much on it. Tasteless and plain. Since it's only RM 5, shouldn't for me to complain more right? =)

南瓜糕及萝卜糕.... Cant finish my portion...

奶油面包+叉烧烧包... Small n the only dish which delightful my tongue.

I heard Suchan Deli very long time ago. After 1 year, only I visited to it. Thanks to Hwan for giving the chance of visiting it. Haha!

A little bit surprise saw the outlet. I thought it would be much better in looking. I am quite realisitic, normally i would enter this kind of obsolete shop lot unless someone introduce to me. Haha! I don't like old old stuffs.. xD

Pretty suprise when seeing the interior design. It's cozy and comfortable. Apparently, can see their effort in furnishing of the cafe. It's look antique~

Description of the founder, baker chef. They are allow to franchise o!

Tiramisu Cake, RM 10.90. This is the signature cake of the shop. Triple thumb up! I never had that so special yet delicious tiramisu cake! The texture and mouth feel were just so different from the ordinary tiramisu. Wish to know how best is it? Just try out yourself. Really, i love this cake so much! Try it and feel the yummy~!!

They still have provided others like western food, tea time set and so on. Of course, cake just part of their business.
